For now, some of the major Android OEMs have been rolling out the first Android Oreo OTA updates for their devices, such as Samsung, OnePlus, Nokia, Essential, and even HTC. Generally, once the update has been rolled out they will be releasing those kernel source codes for the developers to get along with them.
In that case sometimes LG has been lagging behind when compared to other companies in a number of ways, but this time they did the begin beta testing the Oreo in their home country of South Korea.
